# Quickstart

> Get Thor installed and connected

## Initial Installation

  You need to be an admin of the Slack workspace to install the Thor Slack application.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Install the Slack Application">
    Go to the [Installation Page](https://app.thor.ai/install) and click **"Add Thor to Slack"**. Select your Slack organizatin and complete the installation process.

  <Step title="Setup the Organization Connections">
    Once installed, click on "Thor" in the list of Slack apps. On the "Home" tab open, "Organization Connections" and configure the data sources you want Thor to have access to.

## Get Started With Thor

To get the most of Thor, follow these onboarding steps:

    Open the "Thor" Slack app and navigate to the "Home" tab.

  <Step title="Add your Meeting Platform">
    If you use **Google Meet**, click on "Your Connections" and connect your Google account.

    If you use **Zoom**, ask your Zoom admin to click on "Organization Connections" and connect your Zoom account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add your Task Management Platform">
    If you use **GitHub Issues**, ask your GitHub admin to click on "Organization Connections" and setup the GitHub app connection. After this has been done, you can click on "Your Connections" and verify that your personal GitHub account has been associated with your user correctly.

    If you use **Linear**, ask your Linear admin to click on "Organization Connections" and setup the Linear app connection. After this has been done, you can click on "Your Connections" and verify that your personal Linear account has been associated with your user correctly.

  <Step title="Add your Documentation">
    If your team keeps specs and decisions in **Notion** or **Google Docs**, click on **Your Connections** and connect the relevant accounts.

    For **Notion**, connect your Notion account and select the pages you want Thor to use as team context.

    For **Google Docs**, connect your Google account.

    Open the "Messages" tab in the Thor Slack app and start chatting with Thor.
